Ah it makes sense to me now, HoC are probably signing people up for battles mid-round and that's why they repeatedly die holding block with shields like an AFK flipper baby.

When people join HoC it's like the fight scene from They Live except forcing the person to use a round shield and makes them see the game in such a way that a 1:1 kdr is impossible to obtain.

I managed all of our rosters about 10 minutes prior to the website going down, we only had the 13 dudes signed for that siege in the first place.

Froyo and I tossed around the idea of kicking the defenders from the fight, but we both ultimately decided that it would have been a poor decision.  In hindsight, I'm not sure that it would have been.  Considering it was an AI city compared to 1300 heavily armed troops that people worked hard to equip.  If anything, the army loss is more likely to make people quit.

Really, the odd one was Sandy's battle.  We had a few people signed up that somehow got removed, Sandy himself couldn't even join.

As bad as losing the troops was, that probably would have been a bad idea because you'd only be doing it to help one faction and not others who have been fucked over too.
Though if admins could agree now to doing such a thing in the future when an obviously won battle would be lost due to bugs like this, that might be good.

I wish I could have helped the other factions, but it was all faction vs faction battles aside from the one AI city.  That was the biggest reason for us not kicking them though, seemed a bit unfair and definitely wasn't worth the inevitable thousands of steam and forum PMs I'd get for doing it.

also this tumble guy was one of the people spamming I chat because one of his teammates threw a ladder on our flags and we didn't kick our own teammates for it

Well, Bale, you got signed because AI sign automatically every hour. Showing up wasn't the hard part. Anyways, I love you Bale and you're not the one typing in game "lol you're so bad to not wake up in the middle of the night and sign up people who haven't signed up yet."

Yeah that is def not something I would do. I enjoy calling dibs on a particular player and trying to pay attention to how often they get me or not during the fight. That is about as Saucy as I get.

Yeah yesterday was a bag of dicks. I know ppl were nerds and afked in Na 1 (lol I did for one of our battles) but who wants to do that all day? Not enough to make battles fun especially when people can't be added to the battles or even know when battles are.

I doubt it'll get reverted. It didn't in the great AI skynet shitstorm. It prob won't for this either.

This is undoubtedly a really shitty and unfortunate situation everytime good battles are lost to a glitch like this. That being said I have never seen them revert the game.

This has happened to EU big factions multiple times. Even worse their servers were down so they couldnt even make their big battles. To rollback here wouldn't make sense as this isn't the first time. Why now? What is the special occasion?

I don't recall anyone saying that those battles shouldn't have been rolled back. The Taleworlds server issue battles should have been rolled back, so should have yesterdays, but the devs have left us to our fates in both cases. That's not how it ought be, nor is it an argument against rollbacks but rather FOR active people in charge who can do such things.
