Why did le mod die again?

There are many things that led to this, but I'd like to underline one thing: The way this ungrateful community kept bashing everyone who dedicated their spare time to bettering the mod. And Dupre unfortunately became the latest casualty. People couldn't stop shitting on him, and he eventually stopped caring.

That is so true. Can't think of a person who worked on this mod without being constantly shat upon, by me and other members of this "fine" community. We really can be disgustingly awful at times.

cuz this mod was always run with 0 communication and taking general feedback in regard  plus i can't recall a dev or a mod who was any good at the game.

no no, i take that back these days, i even try to be less harsh towards new patchs...even though i fear them more than ive ever feared any player. San was honest, and honestly did what he could to improve the mod. however, to this day i do NOT feel like tydeus tried to improve the mod, maybe he improved it in his mind...but the wpf patch imo will always reign king as the foundation for where this all went wrong. The high level patch certainly didnt help the situation, but i do often wonder what the old crpg would look like with the high level patch.

San Tzu was one of the best balancers ever he knew this game perfectly(builds,mechanic,abuse,classes etc), rest in our memories
