Ive not actually run into anyone i thought was autoblocking the entire time ive been playing here.

What you are dealing with is the very end times phenomena smoothrich once warned us about...the age of the nerd!

What you see is pretty much spot on exactly what he prophesied!

Basically game is at a point very new players come and the players that stay keep getting better and better, to such a point, 90% of players these days can block well. shit they better be able to block well, they've only been playing daily for 3-6 yrs straight

But thats what separates some pub server...to the hell that is crpg.

Autoblock ? Really ?

Belive me dude you are the only one who cant manage to block manually.Blocking doesnt matter in this game anymore its all about timing now.

All the autoblock users even the ones who has in it computer (even if they didnt use) got banned.(Still dont know how that happened  it seems Devs have access to our files)

So stop bitching and learn how to fight properly or go play mario.

SO Basically.. I just feel a bit pissed. It seems like no matter whether it is Native, C-RPG, or any other mod there is a real issue with a large group of players using autoblocking software.
It really makes the game frustrating. and the worst part, they literally don't give a crap, because they are fully aware that there are a large group of people who also do it, and the group is so large that taking any action/banning them would result in perhaps 25% or more of the playerbase being taken away. (maybe not that high but it's certainly a large group, at least 10 active players every night when the servers are down to about 20-35 people.)
What im saying is, is it okay to use it then? should I just go ahead and install an autoblocker myself like these aresholes. I hate it so much, it is such a great game but a lackof decent anticheat and/or moderation is ruining the game in my opinion.
seriously. what can we do about it, Do people even care?
(I'm totally expecting a load of people to flame me for this, and tell me how noone hacks, and I am just a bad player etc etc)
but really, If you read this and you are "hacking" stop it. Your being a twat.

I've played this Mod since Strat 2 and played both Warband and original mount and blade on the day they were released.
This auto blocking has got out of hand in terms of how many do it, Honestly, I am a good player, I might be a bit rusty, but some of this shit people are doing is completely and utterly impossible.
and Otto is confirmed to me as auto blocking, Too many times that I have seen him blocking 3-4 people who attack in different directions in quick succession and he blocks them all.
Maybe once, but not multiple times. and he isn't the only one.
I really think that if you truely believe that "Noone is hacking - you are just bad" then either you are dumb A F, or you are also hacking and trying to cover it.
Why not be honest, a lot of you will come here and completely deny it, even though you know you and others are hacking. Just stop being stupid kids, and play properly.

If you've played so long who are You?

I guess you have only been mostly playing native . Because whenever I go in there I can 1v4 those dudes so ez. Most of them do not know how to block and blame me for autoblocks etc.
I joined a siege server and you would not believe but people were trying to block my over head Great Maul and I was just killing 10 dudes in a row like no big deal.

C'mon, you can't compare Native pub servers with cRPG, I get 100 K/D on Native servers occasionally.

If you want to check someone about autoblocking, multi-feint as fast as you can in front of him and if you see a slight delay or a different timing before he changes his blocks to your attack movement, then he does not auto-block.

There is some auto-blocking software going around on native recently, some Mr_Medic started it I believe. Just adding this.

Even if there was an auto block, i have no idea how to notice it in game. Ive certainly never touched it, and if im in the zone i can easily manage to block multiple people in quick successions. Youve gotta think like this, people have been playing this game for 5k hours minimum at this point, blocking multiple hits should not be something strange.

There are currently two hot threads discussing hackers in cRPG. It's a good thing there are no new players, because there's no way in hell this mod could avoid being branded as riddled with hackers by newcomers and general gaming community. Being isolated community no one cares about comes with couple advantages, I guess.
