'hoping to gain relevance and status', is this one of those situations where you're just projecting the things you want and assuming other people want the same? Like a young-un trying to understand empathy, he wants an icecream therefore that man on the bench with a sad face is sad cos he doesn't have any icecream.
After all, you left that forum when you saw that others were 'running the show', whatever that means (if anything) it suggests you care a lot about status and relevance since those people held no magic admin panel to give them artificial authority over anyone.
If Bannerlord doesn't hurry up I'm going to run out of active gaming forums to lurk on at work, cRPG forum's pleasant enough but dying.
Nah, I'm just spamming bullshit for my own sake. If I wanted to be relevant I'd watch my tongue and act knowledgeable.
Golem is an old cRPG player who never cared about forums. Later he found out forums are actually fun and desperately tried to get in the groove, spamming like madman, trying to be cool, whatever. When that failed, he took opportunity that suddenly presented itself. OKAM forums, fresh start for everybody. Too bad that crappy place died and his effort with it. As you can see, he didn't continue the same in here.
Some people are just like that, I'm not projecting anything. For instance, that miserable bastard kinngrimm still believes OKAM will come out good because he's desperate to be in control of something, to be recognized in any way. Cursed be the day I've tried to help that person in any way imaginable.
As for me, I'm selfish person as it gets. That means everything I do, is for my own amusement. Also, I tend to hold grudges for eternity.
