If you are half decent nowadays you wont have problems blocking even the most tardy feints.

My 1.5 cents (not even worth 2 cents ) - unban all, the autoblock ban hammer system seemed to work nicely, and prolly will again.

There's a reason people got banned / permabanned in the first place, the ones who did get permabanned and actually wanted to get back into the mod have come back with either pleading and gotten a second chance or bought another cd-key and if they at that point have fucked themselves up again, will stay out of the mod.

I don't think unbanning people will help much. People that still want to play just need to come back with a new account - permas have never really been true perma's here. The bans are only really a deterrent. What would happen is a bunch of angry guys come for a week or so and dick around until they get bored/banned and we're back to square one. Only the worst guys get permas, they have to screw up baddly multiple times - you will get cheaters, scammers, trolls for no real benefit

The population issue is a result of people not enjoying the game, playing other stuff, wonky gameplay, real life etc. Unbanning guys would be scraping the bottom of the barrel

What we need to truly revive the mod is help from the most obscure community targetted at games on the Internet. The true necros. We need a famous Twitch streamer to play cRPG for a few days. If Donkeycrew would be able to strike a deal with someone like that, say for the promise of early access to heraldy in Melee or any other rewards that were on the kickstarter or something like that, he could say that cRPG is the best game etc etc. Sync that with a Warband sale and you've just got yourself 50 to 200 new players.

That would only benefit TaleWorlds as cRPG is just a non profit mod for the devs. They should however try to get an early version of Battlegrounds to some streamers, which they probably have already thought of.

How many new players actually go into the forums? Which is the only place to really get info about the game, other than hearing it being talked about in the in-game chat. They won't probably even play cRPG but simply Warband. Any person who at this point haven't seen the game wont see that it's a mod but rather wanna play Warband and THEN they go on a mod journey, which at this point I doubt cRPG will even be mentioned.

Its not hard to understand that some people just dont want to beg or throw money away. I personaly know one (Hemmor) that has been perma'ed with no chance to plead and for a bullshit reason too.

Those persons would come back and play if unbanned.
