The problem with that is independence. We'd be happy to provide that, but it also means that we have the final say on what content is on there, because we'd be also responsible for it.
I totally understand having your own portal if you want to run it your own way. It was the reason we moved from the TW forum to our own back in the days.
Also, a good thing is the visibility. With unofficial websites you win in visibility on the country's of other languages, especially on people who don't speak english.
The other good thing is the referencement. With many links directed on the official forum or website, the indexation will work better for both website with the result of even more visibility.
Better visibility = better solds.
