Loving it. For now.

Since you have to earn money to advance to bigger, better, faster cars, I've been only able to drive the Mini Cooper and it feels great.
Scandinavian flick, gas steering, loose rear end, handbrake turns... you can see the car react to every single different kind of input. Feels really nice, looks really nice and believable.
I am deeply enjoying it and finally they made a worthy Rally game!

I'm playing with a xbox gamepad

I keep thinking about getting wheel and pedals some times per year but somehow I can't get myself to actually buy a proper setup.
I still enjoy playing with a pad tho... herezy... I know :3

And yea, slow cars are more fun for some reason.
Just bought a Opel Kadett GT/R from the 70's and I am already struggling with the power of that one
RWD is fucking me up all the time Suddenly the tires grip again and WHOOOOSH, off the car goes into a direction I do not want x)

Like seriously why? I used to play racing games with a gamepad but it's rubbish compared to a driving wheel and pedals. It's well worth a few hundred euros, and yeah I do mean dropping more on that set than on your CPU or whatever.

Yeah, main issue actually is that I am not willing to fork out that much money.
I do play so many different games that the 360 pad delivers when I actually use it. Still play most games with m&k.
Besides, I rather spend money that's left on stuff for my real bike than on a game controller. ;)

I got the G29 on offer on Saturday, been playing Project cars and i don't think i've had this much fun gaming in a year.

Try the Stratos, it's very drivable and perfect for a gamepad.

Looks good. The last decent rally game I played was on dreamcast. Can't even remember which one that was it's been far too long.

Is it in early access still? Saw some mention of that when I was googling.
