I was here at the start, probably first week the mod launched. Had played Mount&Blade in the past, and bought Warband purely for the multiplayer. What I had envisioned was a sort of persistent world type game, basically M&B but online, and the Warband multiplayer experience was a big disapointment, being no more than medieval Counter Strike. When I heard about cRPG I immediately downloaded the mod and have been stuck here since. The persistent leveling, being able to customize a character in both skills and equipment, was the highest draw. Had high hopes for Strat, but burnt out on it after the first reset. It was an ambitious vision but it failed to deliver on the potential promise. I apologize to chadz and all those who worked on it when I say this, I know it represents a shitton of work and personal investment, but Strat failed, in a way that cRPG (still medieval counter strike, true, but with a huge amount of added tweaks, equipment, etc) never did. Even if it's final days cRPG is dying more gracefully than Strat.
