I did, and I am telling you again, that it meant that the locker itself should be fairly easy to remove, but the files would be different thing. I originally thought that the locker only blocked the file through start-up process, which would mean that the problem would be fixed the second the locker was removed.

I love how he proceeds to do exactly what Xant was predicting he would do.

Also, point restore isn't magical, proper ransomware deletes that as well. The only real protection is doing actual backups.
