anyone played around with new kambert system?
also pro tip, all you need is 10 survival to make 2x q10 nettle pants+shirt and wear all to get: +8 survival, +4 UA, -4 Agil
sprucecap now gives PERC which i only just found out.
+8 surv? thats sik, I should get my survival to 10 then.
Kambert system... I only killed running boars with punches and whatnot. There's a short guide on the forums as well, but here's an even shorter.
Once combat begins, you have 5 moves availible. These are determined by a (random) draw from your "deck" of moves, that you can set under martial arts & skills window. So basically you set which moves you want appearing (has points in it), which moves you don't want appearing (0 points) and how often you want them appearing (assign more points to the move). There can be new skills appearing when you're in combat, if you use them they'll show up in your deck AKA you discover them.
Then you have 3 types of attacking, striking, backhanded, sweeping and 3 types of blocking moves correspondent to these attacks. So you use a striking block to block a striking attack.
One thing I've noticed is that you can move while you're attacking, so if you're chasing someone down and use punch, your character won't stop. Also, there's no defense meter like there was in old haven, instead you have these defensive moves now, that can block either a percentage of damage coming to you, or fully block the attack, dependant on weight. That is, if you chose the right move to counter attacks.
I think this is really nice compared to old haven, will be a lot harder for buffed up chars to go 1vX when you can have multiple, weaker chars pounding on him with different types of attacks.
