It indeed goes pawn -> knight -> bishop -> rook -> queen -> king... not sure where you got the two kings or skinny pawn from. I can confirm that a pawn eventually evolves into knight, and I noticed someone go from a bishop to a rook. But screw chess pieces and their assigned values... everyone knows that knight is the strongest piece! It's the freakin queen killer!

Was gonna suggest using chesspieces as the Kickstarter badges, since a representation can be added in the pledge sidebar ♟♙♞♘♝♗♜♖♛♕♚♔, but I decided it's way better to have something more original and not add confusion by having different representations or anything.

Now I'm once again torn - my heart is with cav, but in chess, knight is my least favourite piece.

Rook is favourite as a general piece and I certainly have no problems with castles in general, but black bishop is probably the piece I most identify with, despite a general dislike for bishops as non-chess pieces.

I'm going to look at it as win/win and go with whatever I get (thus welcoming an eternity of regret).
