Well, I tried chivalry on that free-weekend some months ago, and I didn't notice a big difference to War of the Roses tbh  :D

Have fun in snail simulator :P

Well maybe I like snail simulators, I sure don't like face-paced stuff, be it combat or games overall, another reason why I like RPG's over I don't know Need for Speed or something fast.

You could go Xbow tho. Then you can choose when to "go slow" aka reload and shoot or when it's time to go in and backstab people in melee.
When west germany annexed east germany, nobody moved a finger too.

cRPG combat has experienced a marked speed increase and honestly I don't think it should be sped up any more, it's probably faster than Native already when looking at focused melee builds, especially considering the much higher movement speed.

I actually admired Niluk when he was a foot archer with a nice melee skills. He wasn't that much of an asshole back then, it seemed.

Welp, I guess I'll just go to Chivalry, Chivalry for example has slow combat, one I which prefer, cRPG was similar back before patch even tho I wasn't interested in melee because I like HA
Ranged is also definately the thing that makes c-rpg so extremely unique (sarcasm).

I can confirm, +3 Longsword, 170 wpf, dunno exact weight because not at home but heavy kuyak, horned version of winged helmet, plate boots and swinging like a naked samurai.
