Trailer looks rubbish but I'll reserve my final judgment when I see the show. Teen vibe doesn't bother me, Death Note is exactly like that. But it seems cringe worthy when made into a movie for some reason.
Edit: Only wish they didn't force whole multicultural thing once again and stayed faithful to the characters. Light - Japanese, L - American-Japanese. Not white and black boy.
Edit: Why there isn't a single young American actor of Japanese descent. Are you really that racist?
Oh well. If they wanted to omit that important detail, they should at least go with actors who look like characters they are playing. For example, Ezra Miller could play L. He's weird, and a little bit of gay. Fits the profile perfectly.
