That is because you think of the people I am referring to to be too innocent. Your optimism and humanitarian frame of view aren't enough to cleanse them. Maybe if you witness them destroying and undermining the modern society your people have worked so hard to establish one day -as if they came out of some alien planet and you hadn't been living in the same country and enjoying the same rights-, you can understand who these people are.
Fortunately, I am as innocently naive about giving extremists power over the state as I am believing people on the opposite side of the political/religious compass from being the only ones deserving such privilege.
How Turkey is slowly being undermined by people with good reproductive skills :
http://www.al-monitor.com/pulse/originals/2013/05/turkey-shariah-law-islamists-paranoia.html#Even if immigration + birth rate + mind corruption managed to get extremists to supplant "native" controlled traditional governments in the next decade, century or millenia (a fear which have always been the starting point/argument to segregation, civil uprising, ethnic cleansing, genocides), it does not make them criminals whatever their beliefs are, and they would represent the will of the majority. A country belongs to its people, not to the ones who were there first and for very long. If you're not happy about that, go kill "them" right now. You know, the enemies. Dont wait for an excuse to do it without fear of the law, like most of everyone else is doing which shares your very, very balanced and nation-wide objective opinion about things.
Its hilarious that an islamic country like Turkey is having the same cultural problems than western Europe. I would have thought you would have more insight. I think others does.
