yea, PC... was released yesterday but I've read there were some issues. Maybe they retracted the patch again or something.

Europeans needed machineguns to colonize Africa.

Your point?

EDIT: Honestly, they did not need them at all. I mean come on, even an army of medieval warriors could make short work of few undernourished blacks with makeshift spears.
To use something does not necessarily mean you need it...

You cant really blame me considering all the comments of how it steals from AC franchise. I mean, I honestly think that I wasnt the only one who expected some kind of retarded lotr cash grab with AC parkour slapped on top. But they have surprised, and they have delivered. I admit I was wrong, it is great and well pollished game.

bah i hope assassin's creed series never stop tbh, or at least its style and soul, even if most of the times is shit; i enjoy too much the city exploration, hopefully they'll remake (and not remaster) the first 2 AC which were the best imo (the second one being on top). i just enjoy this franchise i dunno, but this game, seriously, this one; technically it's amazing, the graphics are stunning as the reproduction of paris, but the game itself, uhhh. they've finally polished the parkour system, now it's fluid and a joy to the eyes, if only it wasn't full of countless bugs, but the combat system imo got worse, it was rather easy in the first 2 + the 4th but in the third one they managed to reach a good balance (tho the game was the worst one), with non-counterable enemies and they just should have polished it, adding more feats but still keeping the combat system flow. and the fact i cannot fight hand to hand nor with my hidden blades, fuck it. fuck. it. sorry if i jump on 300 topics per line but i'm a bit tipsy and just thought i should throw something at you just to confuse you.

I agree. In Black Flag, I loved to turn off the whole HUD and just run around, fight a bit and enjoy the city.

Playing off with HUD can be fun at times but the game is just not made for that.

I actually think that combat system in Unity is the biggest improvement they made. And it's a shame it goes down with the shabby technical part.
Combat is impossible to play in Unity when your fps are shit. So you might wanna check on those.

Yeah, the technical part... my game was laggy at times but playable, until I reached a certain MQ, after which it was like a slideshow, so my Unitying stopped there.

as stated before i think they did a great job with the parkour animations, they're more natural (tho still obviously supernatural lol not a problem for me anyway), as for the combat system meh, it got worse to my eyes, maybe i'm just biased cause i'm not used to it yet, can't really judge it properly due to low fps and bugs (sometimes i see the guards being slayed and arno doesn't move at all). also anybody else CAN'T knock down anyone? everytime i try nothing happens and guards catch me standing still like a retard

That's just lag to very bad performance, Darma.
Combat got better if you're even able to run the game.
