I don't think anyone's out to get you or anything. I was trying to help, but I had to be absolutely sure what occurred since bans aren't to be treated lightly. I had to have some things clarified since I was confused about some events, such as the lack of an hp decrease from the first to second screenshots, damage dealt, and the time. The first screenshot and Big Nat's response were good enough, but it was difficult to tell what happened with illuminati and needed more details, especially since when I imagine him teamhitting me, it would probably deal 80%+ (which is why I mentioned the damage). I'm a bit overly cautious for bans after midnight since we all make poor decisions that late and stupid mess happens.

Overall, Artyem made the right decision based on the info presented, and there's not much more that can be said.

In-game, admins who witness the event can punish immediately since they know what happened. On the forums, ban threads can take a while to be processed. People can (and do) post misleading screenshots to try and get a personal enemy banned or just to troll some random player they don't even know. The server logs don't update immediately, you may have to wait a day or two for an admin to look into it because until then they have no more insight than anyone else browsing the forums. As long as you are patient and post sincerely in the ban section, your requests will carry more weight. If you develop a track record that shows you are reporting only people that deserve to be banned, then your word does count more than than the average player.

I can understand your frustration, but being patient and persistent will get you much farther than complaining and flaming other posters in the ban thread. Just report them and move on. People who abuse the ban section get warned and muted. The boy who cries wolf will get his god damn tongue ripped out for being a little bitch.
