Not really. Everyone's free to do anything with one's property.
The problem is that:
1) Devs let Apsod get this item in one way or another
2) Devs didn't stop the auction and all this high bidding although they could

Just giving the gold back is really a shitty option because it doesn't compensate for anything.

capitalist swine

this weapon shouldn't have been forged

plz remove it from cRPG

and appropriately deal with the removed-days-ago incident instead of giving those guys refund

I let it rot and dry in my inventory for 10 months, until recently. I got bored and decided to put it up for auction.

The rest explains itself really. I'm sorry for the mess it caused.

I'm proud of you Apsod. But why would you even sell such a unique item in the first place? 9/30 build hit n' run fåggot would be more fun than the auction :D

Thats what I did the first time I got my hands on the sword. Decided not to do that the second time.

There was no way for him or for anyone else to use it in game, it'd get deleted instantly.

Wat?
Property is what someone has, like if you own a house it's your property, or your car, or your laptop etc. All of those are property.

Anyone else wondering how someone manages to get a dev item not once, but TWICE? Without them figuring it out? I think he has someone on the inside. I mean you kinda have to have someone on the inside to have gotten it the first time. But for the second time...I mean you must REALLY have some kind of influence or intrigues going on.

What's to stop him from getting it a THIRD time, at this rate? Other than Pooh with a bat.
