Public servers are easy to dominate. Camp with an AWP and prefire corners. Prenade/preflash cluster points. Learn how long enemy teams take to get to choke points and you can time nades and your entrance accordingly (Becuase people are fucking stupid and will run towards enemy as soon as possible (no matter what game they are playing).
If there is one thing I learned after 12 years of FPS Games its that no matter how good you think you are, there will always be someone out there who is more prepared, more patient or cheating.
F**k counter strike & f**k battlefield..... F* first person shooters. Counter strike source aka Half life 2 allows custom textures, that means most people dumb enuf to still play CSS have invisible walls. CS:Go tried to fix that, but obviously they can only enforce so much.
From custom scripts for bunny-hopping (which isn't that hard to do) to people binding impulse 101 lagspikes to be "immune to flashbangs" Counter strike is riddled with retard kids full of ego who cheat their tits off and trash talk to get a rise outa you. Pub-stomping gets old real-quick. 5v5s are fun until people are prefiring through objects.
Battlefield luckily doesn't have voip except for in your squad, however there are still numerous hacks out there that are undetected.
I went through the list and there were well over 50 websites providing monthly subscriptions, each of these websites has thousands of subscribers. This goes without mentioning the several thousand elite programmers with private radar hacks and other such advantages they engineer themselves. Many people have rediculous box esp, and they aren't even the ones to 'dominate' you.
The only time first person shooters aren't rigged to the tits with cheaters are at Lan tournaments, and guess what... people still try to hack at those, just recently some douchnozzle named ghostsomething admitted to using Blue Lense Glasses with custom polygons for player locations only seen by him, for several years. There are numerous stories of people cheating at LANs... why would anyone wanna subject themselves to such rediculousness.
I hear that dongnobble Matt from Acre plays CS:Go, people say hes good... prolly just hacks and puberty.. :p

http://www.hltv.org/news/4408-top-10-players-caught-cheatingI actually was on a team with Joona for half a season, his name was DNA at the time, him and his finnish friends were pretty good. I thought I was pretty good at the time and marvelled at his clutchtastic capacity... little did I know.
Stop wasting your time with first person shooters, sooo much time wasted.... Crpg for life now.
(I'm probably too old for twitch reaction reflexes anymore)
