Honestly though, people deserve getting banned for making stupid jokes. 1 year is a bit too much, but a couple of months would do. Just like, my opinion.

tbh i'll take a month or two NA ban but a year of global mine as well be a perma. I don't have the patience or memory to come back after that.
Perhaps a vote in order by the community on whether to shorten it from anywhere from 2-6 months or for a perma/essay could be in order.

i can see how lemon is on thin ice and might be getting heavier and heavier bans for his actions these days... but come the fuck on. he did a stupid harmless joke that offended no one at all and he got a year ban? you could at least wait for him to do something that actually deserves a response before you throw out the permaban. its like a guy whos been back and forth into prison for theft and other minor crimes getting out of jail on parole and then getting arrested and handed out a life time sentence because he jokingly called his best friend a my old friend while waiting for a bus. he didnt actually do anything worth punishing this time around.
