Well, this is certainly news to me!

It's always funny when people freak out over merc support.  We let all our people merc for whoever the hell they want.  They can fight with whoever the hell they want.  They are grown men lol.  It's not a reflection on the policies of the clan.  Most of the time it's whoever asks first, whoever they like more, or they want XP.  In the case of AI fights who cares.  Good fights are better than not.  It doesn't have to be part of a grand conspiracy.   

And there is no FCC 2.0.  At the end of last strat Black Company voted to join the FCC if Kesh did it again.  Simply put he did a good job.  He was fun to fight for.  And he was always fair to us.  He didn't have to let me gain experience commanding battles.  He basically let me co-command a lot because he was a good leader.  By doing that I got more involved in stat.  Now I can command battles on my own.... thanks to him giving me the opportunity.  I know a lot of people hate him but the guy's been nothing but good to me.  I'm not trying to fluff his balls or anything.  It's just the truth. 

But he didn't reform.  So all the rumors of a new FCC 2.0 are BS.  Kesh hasn't asked us for a single thing this strat.  He hasn't conspired with us.  If he's not trying to pull BC then why would he try to reform other factions?  At one point we were part of the Wardens who control the whole NE corner of the map.  Kesh fought in all our battles but he didn't ask for anything.  It was just fun.  Furthermore it's too late now.  How or why would he try to re-form the FCC when all the independents are doing fine.  Some of those factions even went to war.  We fought Bird.  Other clans are having problems.  The FCC was last strat.  It was a great faction and helped most of my people learn to play.  But this is a new strat.  Most old ties fell away quickly over border disputes and personality issues. 

I haven't really spoken to Kesh much but I get the impression he wanted to let some of the small FCC factions go on their own.  He didn't want to put those clans under the sights of former enemies by "conspiring" with them lol.  He just wanted to play strat and give them the best chance to do the same.  Seems like he's doing fine over in the steppe.  I'm glad for him. 

This strat is a lot different than the last.  Anything could happen.

Interesting thread necro but the NA playerbase should hope for a FCC return this strat. At least there would be more real battles finally.

Well Anders, you've managed to get the blood flowing for your macabre sense of satisfaction, sucking the juices up with a bendy straw. Shadow governments, kesh godkingism, and pecker slapping. And that's why we love him. FCC makes perfect sense in EU with the druzhina people taking up the entire map, but not in NA. Honestly the whole superpack thing is getting annoying.

Shit's heating up.  I think there will be quite a bit happening soon.  There are no real mega blocks this strat.  So it might take longer to ignite a world war but it will happen.  When it does it will probably be a lot heavier than anything last strat.

Everyone's complaining about NA being slow.  But there were AI fiefs that needed to be taken first of all, then it takes days to cross the map, and with the new prices everyone is unsure of what gear they need to get to fight human players.

I'm trying to be aggressive, but damn it takes a long time.
