The change to HTA won't save them.  The change to damage soak already ruined then, while one more ammo is nice, they'll be doing less damage than before, which is already not a lot.  Let's put it this way, chucky will still be using jarids.  The accuracy changes were long overdue, but are not really a buff, not to hybrids compared to pre wpf patch.  Pure throwers will benefit from it, but any pure thrower is not going to be using anything that got buffed.  High level hybrid throwers were getting less wpf than before after the wpf patch, tydeus reduced the wpf requirements but he is just now returning their accuracy to them by buffing the weapon stats themselves.  But the fact is, high level hybrids are still worse off than before, and all of the beloved throwing lance hybrids are still fucked cause the pole arm stab is atrocious now.

lol, sigh what a game \ community...i dont know if i should jump on and play and deal with this mods new level of bullshit, or wait to find out if the developers are pranking me for april first

all i know for sure is what i have been saying for some time now

this mod is a joke, its just a fucking joke, made by jokers for jokers

Not even a remotely accurate statement if you consider the real, effective, in-game reticule size. it's not like 1 accuracy is only worth 1 or 2 points of wpf, for throwing 1 accuracy is worth 7, for archery, 1 accuracy is worth 13. It doesn't really matter what your build is, you're more accurate now, than before, by far.

As previously stated, the damage buff to bows was a misunderstanding. Base bow damage values were to be lowered by 2 while giving them 2 damage from heirlooms. Unfortunately, only the latter got done, this has already been updated.

Make the light x-bow 1 slot again. And change the donkey heads, its harder to target players based on their armor preferences.

One of the worst patches yet :l. For the temporary jew donkey helm given to us is allowing archers to one shot us because of 0 armor I lol :D

(throwing hammers) about time they got buffed!
(jarids) nerf a little more
(Valour) Might as well take it off the game since i have yet to see someone get it in NA
Mod is a joke atm :P


Hope this is one whole april fools joke and its all fixed tomorrow!

looking at all the stats on heir loomed bows and arrows now, they are quite powerful, so no archer can complain anymore.

i sure won't be complaining, not complained about archery for about 2 years now, since when ever any type of ranged character hits me it does next to nothing damage.

and who needs to complain, they are the ones that run away when you approach them, that means you won the fight before you even killed them.

1. removed valor
2. buffed my old friendchers
3. buffed slut throwers
4. gave us 0 head armor for at least a day

Interested, as I thought it was a step in the right direction. (There was/is a significant gap in damage between fully loomed and unloomed archers. Much greater than the melee equivalent.)

Otherwise a nice patch (assuming it's not a april 1st thing). :p

Originally archers got damage from both bows and arrows, now they'll get it on only their bows. Personally I think 1 damage would be better, but w/e, I'm in the minority and it's not a huge difference(certainly not compared to when archers got +6 damage from looms).

I put in a suggestion that got passed for buffing +1 and +2 items. Hopefully, it'll shorten the gap and make +1s more worth it to use while still offering that sense of progress.

The above and some peasant/weak weapon buffs.
