I would reccomend going either 18 str + Max IF/PS + rest into agi with max Ath/WM or 21/24 Str + Max PS, rest into agi with max Ath/Wm (converting the skill pts u would use in IF into str).

You need Athletics for sure, so you'll be able to control the range and utilize the length of Flamberge

Maximizing your proficiency with weapon master will really help with min/average damage output and getting the most out of your PS, and will also help with the speed factor more than with faster weapons due to the slower initial speed of flamberge. It's for this reason that I recommend going 18/21 for a level 30 or 31 build, 18/24 or 21/21 for a 32+ build. The athletics will also help you to control your range.

This would be my favorite build for flammy. Unless you're not going to retire on lvl 31, then I'd suggest 21/21. You need ath to be able to use the range properly. With some footwork you can easily land an easy hit after another by just walking back and forth on group fights without ever going inside the enemy's attack range. Also, against cav that sword is great. Jump out the cav's way and give them a nice swing to the face. Once again you need to be able to move fast to do this.
