But after retiring and leveling up in siege, i remember my lv3 kill with a club, against another peasant.
We had an epic duel.

And then a plated knight came, chopped me in two, and camped the ladder, so i could never get back on the walls.
Typical cRPG story. High levels in high armor being douchebag, poor peasant trying to survive actually having fun.

Yes, because it seemed to take me a couple weeks to get a bamboo spear. And then a week to get a kill with it. Was early 2011 or so, I was peasant scrub with no M&B experience before CRPG. I didn't even know how attack/block directions worked back then.

My first kill was Sauce, he let me kill him for whatever reason with a club the website gave to me before I knew there was a website... after I killed Sauce I felt really accomplished like I was an actual player finally! This is the reason when I see actual peasants running around that I could kill, I ignore them instead or let them kill me.

I was using a wooden sword, fucking child toy, and murdered someone with it,  there were blood splatters all over the place and I had some in my face, wasn't pleasant, managed to bail before the cops showed up.

I know this sounds stupid but I was like every other peasant and played archery. It was the map with the dock and small tower in the middle of apartments. I was on the roof with my small bow and 2 people charged me and I shot both of the down with 2 arrows. I felt so cool.

I got mine with a pitchfork and a leather covered round shield. Lucky hit on a plated up knight. And thus, Hoplites were formed.

I remember it clear as day

I was playing on Castle 3 and was playing with a crossbow, I aimed with my poor knowledge of the crossbow velocity drop and landed a shot on an enemy standing between the two doors (at the siege ladder). This was in May 2010

I was on battle just trying to survive as a peasant a knight came charging in at me but someone piked his horse and he fell on the floor in front of me.

I hacked down with my falchion and noticed my name in green for a change.
