But even with my mighty +344 we couldnt defeat Genoa :'( i let my liege down, i volunteer for public execution, i should have rolled +1000!!!

I think the lose at Genoa was due to them reinforcing in the last minute. Not sure because I was sleeping in the royal chambers.

Well I think I understand enough of the game now to branch out. Any Milan affiliated kingdoms who can use an extra body? Would like a count position in your kingdom though. Otherwise I might usurp the throne of Flanders and see if I can free it of Saracan vassalisation, but we can't all be kings.

Chris - Ugh... A bug, I made it with the "beautification" thing, it seems it affects victory condition. Fixed (but you need to click Charge! on any battle where you see strange victory rates (the side with the higher victory% wins, not the one with better strength). Sorry...

OK, as a compensation for an unfairly lost battle I halved the Milano's debt.
(for the RP purpose let's say that the forces of Milan was just about to win when they saw an unguarded treasure on the battlefield and they broke their formation which costed them the battle but they got the treasure )

Why don't you give offices to yourself tho? You can easily get 110 gold each day if you make yourself Mayor of one city, Marshall of your Kingdom and Great Treasurer of your Kingdom.
