I just noticed an interesting comparison in the MW heavy lance and the MW war spear:

Personally, I like the current speed of the heavy lance. I feel like the new slowness of it allows me to place my lunges better, making head shots and taking out other horses even easier than before. Maybe I'm just getting better though.

The hit boxes thing has always been around with the longer pole arms, at least I think. maybe the slow speed is effecting your judgement of where you're supposed to aim your invisible hit box, I tried cav out after the heavy lance nerf and I still sucked, no worse than I did before though. just can't wrap my head around lancing :c lol

Since every cav and their moms and their mom's mom is still using this beast I don't think there's a problem or else more people would have put it away for a better lance.

example of why I think that, after the 2h stab nerf errybody dropped the German Greatsword for a Danish (or they dropped 2h entirely and went pol(olololololol)e arms), if the heavy lance had got a nerf in comparison to that then we would hardly see the heavy lance anymore, but as it is, every cav uses it still so I don't think it lost that much lovin ;)

agreed. Its the easiest weapon to time. That one challenging bit of timing a lance correctly gets thrown out the window now.
