I'm so happy this thread blew up. I spent a lot of effort editing myself out of that video for it to not go unnoticed on the forum.

Truth be told, this thread originally had no purpose other than to just show the video. I just threw clever words in there to make it seem on topic.

but the excitebike theme is just so simple and uplifting.  It gets me pumped up almost as much as the space jam theme song

I think when you pull the trigger, the tv screen goes completely dark for a second, faster than your eyes can see, except for the target. So, if you're hitting the target, the laser will be reflected back to the zapper and detected, recording a hit.
