If you retire after level 31

Hi all,

I heard on the NA server that if you retire after level 31 you get an extra loom point (ie. level 32 gets 2 looms at retire)

Is there any truth to this or is this just a ruse?

Thanks in advance :)

LVL 31: 1 LP
LVL 32: 2 LPs
LVL 33: 3 LPs
LVL 34: 5 LPs
LVL 35: 8 LPs
LVL 36: 13 LPs

Probably, the amount of loompoints you get for retiring at the next levels is also determined by Fibonacci sequence.

No, you only get exp bonus once per retirement, so if your goal is to get max exp bonus as quick as possible, you should still retire at lvl 31.

Nope. No matter when you respec, the bonus is +30 for gen 15 and less and +0 for gen 16 and more.

Retiring at 31 is trivially more efficient in terms of XP per loom (a few hundred thousand, I believe), but I definitely prefer retiring at 32.

You spend half as much time as a useless peasant and instead get to spend that time playing with a nicely filled out build... and you get 2 looms + gold to buy your next item!

The downside is that you won't stack up the retirement XP bonus quite as fast, but I'll sacrifice efficiency in the name of fun any day of the week.

(I'm around gen 11-12 right now, and haven't looked back since starting L32 Retirements at gen 5-6)

That's a good idea actually. Takes the stress out of levelling.

Say what you want, but the XP bonus adds up very nicely.  And you can make good money while leveling from 1-25'ish.  Within 2 days of playing (talking 4 hours tops) I'm at a level where I can deal damage to people as infantry, and try to stick with teammates to help our team win.

Retiring at level 32 is a bad idea (IMO) if you plan on retiring in the future, because you're screwing yourself out of an additional 3% more XP for every tick.  It adds up over the retirements.
