Wow, lots of people poped their gaming cherry with m&b
to be honest i didnt see point in buying anything befor M&B, i was just pirating everything cuz it was same shit just for free.
people are like potatoes, they come in different shapes and sizes and they all are beautifull
masturbating while looking in a mirror isnt wrong unless its the rear view mirror and you are driving a school buss.

it doesnt matter if you are happiest person or an unfortunate weeper, a powerfull beast or a terrifying creature. we are all equal, in the eyes of the reaper.

first game bought online was probably CoD MW2, anything before that was bought in a shop, or bought for me by my parents in a shop :p (or pirated)
Torost, Lemmings was a pro game for sure <3

first PC games i remember (as in actual PC)(played them well after the came out mostly i guess)

for other ancient old skool game fans this site is amazing http://abandonia.com/. I downloaded a game called Genies curse http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Qadim:_The_Genie's_Curse and had tons of fun <3
i make terrible warband videos! https://youtu.be/jUdVGIOuULk

Well Warband isn't the first game I bought by far. It's one of the first games I bought online, which is what Latvian asked for some reason.

Yeah, I ignored him, but if I must be restricted to online only, then it must have been Tanarus. It was originally the testbed for the Everquest engine, and was the basis for what became Planetside 1. Awesome arena game with 4 teams of 5 tanks all trying to steal each others flags from their bases and cap it in your own, though only really good teams were able to pull that off. The not so good teams just went at a 5v5v5v5 team deathmatch, but a flag pulling team would win handily because it was so difficult and worth so much (when you lose your flag, all tanks at the team die and respawn at their base and all players on the pulling team got 5 kills a piece).

I'm really sad that it was shutdown in 2010. Some buddies who were veterans of that game always talk about coding a clone with a modern FPS engine...sadly just talk

I'm trying to remember... I think it was Half-Life 2, so that I could play Garry's Mod.

First game I ever bought with my own money? Golden Sun for the Gameboy Advance. Still one of my all time RPG favorites.

irl something shorted on the shuttle and laika overheated and died within a few hours of liftoff and for a brief while one could look up to the stars and see a light shooting across the sky that was actually a warm dog corpse slingshoting about the earth at thousands of miles per hour which was arguably humanity's greatest achievement so far

I only bought two games online and that was through steam, First M&B:Warband, then Garry's mod it was I think

All I needed was M&B

Ohwait I also have WoT, but that was free, so yeah
I loot corpses of their golden teeth.
