If you look at the numbers you'll notice that the site you got that from really is anti American and makes things look as bad as possible when they really are not. Those ones also talk about
reported instances. I'm sure that if the Middle East or African nations reported half of what happens USA would be far from the top.

@ WW2 debate:If it wasn't for Americans all of Europe and the USSR would have been under German control.
Reasons being:
The British were the last diamond standing in the shit and were about to get taken over by the Germans. The Germans had destroyed most of the British military industry leaving the British with only what they had left. Americans were the only country left on the allies side in WW2 with a fully functioning manufacturing base that hadn't been wiped in air raids. Americans built the bulk of what was used on the western front while also doing more than their fare share of the human losses.
The USSR were getting destroyed up untill Stalingrad. Stalingrad was the point that the USSR had decided they would give it their all to stop the Germans. The fighting was horrible for the commies and they were loosing morale fast. Nobody wanted to do the dumb shit that the commanders were making them do. The main reason that they held at Stalingrad was 1. The amazing bravery of the soviet soldiers and 2. The Americans and some British coming in from the west to take the pressure off.
The Germans were winning the east and west until the Americans came in.
