Huseby, it depends to what you got in front of you. If you got 5 "new" archers armed with nomad bows surrounded by tincans, they will just die like idiots, but if you meet guys that played like 20/30 hours as archer with all archery skills maxed out, they will already be more painful to kill, and, if you meet a bunch of experimented archers, well ... Don't even expect to reach them alive. This is related to Eu 1.

(Also, I forget horse archers, aka annoying pieces of shit that are worse than archers now because of their increased mobility).

I agree with the idea that people should be able to play whatever they want, for sure. The problem is that more often than not, atleast as far as I can tell, one team gets most of the ranged players and on most maps that is absolutely devastating if the rest of the team isn't retarded.

Are lots of ranged on EU only for primetime? I want to get on at that time to see how bad it is. I was on EU1 for the last hour and there were barely any ranged and it was approximately 15-20 people per team. Other than the first map to get accustomed to the ping, I ended up doing quite well as melee.
