Get a melee weapon you turd and actually give the the mechanics that made this game a try instead of trying to exclusively play counter-strike with very slow bullets. Exactly this mentality is why archers are getting hit with nerf after nerf, a stubborn dedication to piss of everybody else as much as possible by trying to avoid fighting in melee under any circumstance.

I dont disagree, mount and blade is amazing because of melee fighting, and I would never want to be a pure archer.
That written, I was an archer for.... I dont know 20 gens or something, and first they took my maul and bastard sword from me (I use longbow because I am a manly man, no asian bows please), then they took my arrow speed then to finally kill my archer they took my melee fighting ability away from me with the arrow weight.
Honestly, my grief was just that: You cannot fight with a shorter weapon if you cannot close on the backpeddlers. I used a bow mainly becuase of the addiction in this game of Holding down S key, everyone did it SO much that I would just swap back and shoot at them, forcing them to come at me again. But then, I had to drop all my shit just to be able to fight. So now I have to chase after people cause they backpeddle, and I cant even force them to stop backpeddling because I have to find my bow again etc. So I quit being archer and am now just shot endlessly by horse archers, who, funny enough, can kite more than any foot archer ever did, while also being able to bump. Seems fair so far, huh?
The arrow weight should be by player. Blackbow and his kind: increase it even more. Put points into riding while being an archer: acount deleted.
Those of us who want to fight but think its retarded not to have some way to strike back at backpeddlers and horse archers should be given original arrow weights back.
I am punished because of the shitcunt style of others and it still makes me cry.
