first we werent able to get on the servers at all, now on eu 1 there are 17 players shown.

How is this still a talesworld problem or asked differently how come those 17 can play , shouldn't they have the same problem with connecting?  what is different in their cases and can we have that too ^^?

servers are working, you can join but only with a new char, because there is a problem now with the IDs

Protip: you won't have those new chars after this is fixed. Also, probably shouldn't be making new chars on random IDs.

this didnt work just so you dont waste your time with it: uninstalled MB, reinstalled, ran repair on c-rpg, tried to join EU1 which had 32 people playing this morning, it asked me for my serial key, I typed it in (got it from my steam library) and still got booted with this character belongs to someone else.

ok , so you could do new chars, which then get new ids.

Would you be able to redirect the db request to your own db?
Then mirrow the talesworld ids db on your own db.

That you could make yourself perhaps indepentend from the talesworld server.

Although not sure if that would be worth the trouble, as this typ of downtime happens very rarly ... still additioanlly to all cRPG caused downtimes.
