i'll still grind

Yeah, me too, I'll still level up just for challenge.  It's just nice that it's purely optional now, especially for people who want to jump right into Strategus and play an archer on defense one day and a 2hander for an attack the next.

This is a nice feature. Well, I have only one char but I want to try different builds in the future and get more heirlooms so I'll grind.
I was the first one who started -1-ing everyone, now everyone does it to everyone.

This is probably the best new feature they've ever added to CRPG.

R.I.P "the Grind"

2010-2011
I can't quite follow. What's fun on a "native"-feature in crpg?

uh shame Im lvl 27, no point doing that for 3 levels. Imo this is best what devs could do. PPl dont like grind??NP skeep the fun and it didnt kill the grind factor cose there are ppl that want to hit 31-32 and so do I.

There is no way I would give up heirlooming, and all of my bank and items for a char that I could re-spec to 30 every day.  esp with how limited that char options are.

Is the "grind" really that hard?  seriously?   If I want to try a new class out I only have to level an alt for maybe 3-4 days of playing time (3-4 hour sessions).  That sort of "grind" is a joke.  the only real grind in the game is from 30-31.  as it it should be.  so that you can EARN something.  just playing a level 30 forever with no payoff would be spinning my wheels with absolutely no payoff.  how boring is that !!

Actually, getting from lv27 to lv30 is already a little grind.

This feature is definitively a great add-on, for new players.
They wanna try the game, to see what it offers at high level (even if with some low equipment), Skip the Fun.
They understood and wanna play it the fun way, they.... well, i think it's not up yet, but well, they "retire" and loose all gold or/and equipment, becoming a true level1 ready to level up.

Not going to do it though, already have some alts with decent equipment and money, don't wanna do it all over again.

Yeah I feel the same way.  Great for new players and those interested in CRPG and trying things out.  Useless for established players, but the established players will get slight perks via looming and a larger gold pool.

Thumbs up from me, even though I will never ever skip the fun.

At the moment, no.... if you retire after "Skipping the fun" you get set to level 1 and you still cant gain exp
