I see that the thread predicting my scourge of the Strategus map is turning into an e-peen thread for me.

Let me remind everyone for the 10th time that I actually am preparing something on Strategus, it's just taking for fucking ever because apparently that's how the god damn devs intended things to be.

The Ancient One, Ingleram Isenzahn feared not the darkness of the cave or what he thought he would find inside it.

Long had he walked the mountains of his peoples land, guarding the borders and watching for bandits. In all the years since he started, he had encountered many strange creatures, ice giants, golems and GOBBLINs. Its was rumors of GOBBLINs that had brought him to this cave today. Miners from the village of Tash Kulun had reported a strange lack of GOBBLIN sightings and even stranger a total lack of GOBBLIN related livestock theft (or buggery).

The smell of a GOBBLIN cave is perhaps the worst part of such a expedition, there total lack of cleanliness plus a gleeful desire to disgust all those they come across combines into a wafting smell close to that of rotting cabbage with a dash of feces. Ingleram continued into the cave, curious as to the total lack of guards posted. By now he should have been challenged or even outright attacked for intruding this far into their lair. Up ahead Ingleram heard nothing but the slow drip of water against stone.

As the cave tunnel ended and a enormous cavern opened up, Ingleram saw no sign of the GOBBLIN tribe that he knew resided here. Only the smell remained but no trash or other debris typically left behind when a GOBBLIN tribe leaves a area. Walking to the center of the cavern, Ingleram looked around in wonder. Why would GOBBLINs clean up before they left? Taking everything with them? This was not like them at all.

At the back of the cavern, Ingleram found a ascending tunnel, that ultimately lead to the moonlit surface.

The tracks outside the cave were tightly packed and orderly, Ingleram reported when he rushed back into Narra a week later, having not slept once since the discovery.

"The GOBBLIN's are gathering in force and with some dark purpose. Whatever or whoever is driving them has a plan." Ingleram said to his Chieftain and all who were there in the Great Mead Hall of Narra that day saw fear flash across the pale, wrinkled face of The Ancient One.
