TBH I don't think the game needs more development, just a team who decide on item balance tweaks and someone to upload the changes. Some new models with stats here and there etc. I don't really think Paul wanted to take the game in the direction I think it needs to go, and he had a pretty poor attitude imo towards large parts of the playerbase.

Not really, atm he is an absolute necessity for this mod. Check the patch notes for the last year, it's pretty much all Urist. Even if you don't like nudges and rolls, I find it hard to believe you could dislike many of the other changes he does. Furthermore, he's still the only other active item balancer (outside of simple poll votes). With the overlords busy, he provides this community (as well as myself) with important information, and more than anyone else, he has picked up the slack meow left behind through his absence.

The thread kind of disappeared after a few days too, maybe it needs more exposure.

Really just need someone who can edit weapon stats at a bare minimum

The most important thing for an Item Manager, is that they have to know the warband module system, being able to model and texture something is more of a plus.

If Meow is gone, who is handling character/account problems?  Can you please update the stickied thread of 'who to contact'? Do you need help?

It's a group effort now, though this post might be most appropriate. This one's relevant too. He probably handles 10x more requests than anyone else, which is bad, considering it goes against his "mean dev" reputation.

He is extremely edgy at times. And thats why he is colorful and his replies are damn hilarious. I think the people really hating him are the ones whose feelings he really hurt. To his defence, sometimes some people really need to be wittfully insulted.

Theese people being butthurt and always demanding more and more from a dev and want him to be a perfect person in their  eyes suck ass.
After all it's a ftp mod and thus noone deserves anything and no dev has to act according to your thoughts.
