This is acctually true. Its not like you can remove it. The meleefightingmechanics of this game may be awesome and better then all other games, but you all got to admit that besides directional combat the mechanics are also held together with apeshit feinting and backpedal moves. You cant really have this game without em. Brytenwalda for example had a mechanic that punished players if they backpedaled and PW had no feinting. Sad to say the game just sucked horribly without these moves.

And this time its definately your own blind hate for 2h heroes that made you post Panos. This epilepsything is pretty common for all infantryclasses(mybe exept shielder). Im rather enjoying going apeshit with feints while using a polehammer. If you mess around with your mouse properly the weapon confuses the fuck out of the opponent and they cant follow it anymore. Its hilarious, since it is a rather slow weapon.

If you want to play a realistic warband mod, just play Vikingr. A pity many players did not like this "realism" as vikingr doesn't has many players.

I prefer Vikingr aswell. I dont get why doesnt it have more players. It is a great mod. But I quess it does get some credit since it hasnt died yet.

Because it's the most realistic mod so far. No more evidence is needed to prove that realism doesn't mean fun to most of the people (it does for me though).

Edit: A good thing that the events keep the mod alive.

I understand your rage. It just takes a long time to be good in this game and it must be discouraging when pros come and beat you with feints.

If you can't bear with it, try Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. You can't hold attacks or spam feints in that game.

There also used to be a little thing called ghost swinging, it got patched but it was as bullshit as bullshit could be.
You can also be epilitic very easily on Chivalry. Swing your camera around and because of the ~great~ head animation you can effectivelly pretend to be swinging a weapon allowing you to feint their block.

No game is perfect yo'.
