It does not favor melee. That's why they added a flaming katana so we can cut through flying arrows and bolts to even the playing fields.

There are many games that offer ranged combat, some with drop mechanics, some without.

No other game has the manual melee combat mechanics MB:Warband has...
(yes I know about Chivalry and WoTR but those are not quite the same)

i feel bad that archers cant 1 shot me sometimes in my gothic plate so increase their dmg pls
