Xant doesn't abide by any social standards, he has established this many times. So long as you pay him attention and respond he will try to provoke you into a rude exchange. This being said, I think the solution is rather painless and easy.
I don't have any issues with him, but I knew since way back that he likes to 'troll' people for kicks and make very shallow remarks on people. The harsh truth though, Xant, is that it doesn't matter who you are on the internet. I will most likely never meet any of you in real life, there is no point to waste your energy into trying to make yourself look bigger than someone else. I doubt that video game prowess will lead you any where in life unless you aim to play professionally, which I'm sure is something many people wouldn't mind to do (play games, get money, best thing ever), but as many things in life it requires copious amounts of time and practice. Sure, some people have it easier, just like in any other area in which individuals compete against each other.
This is an interesting thread you picked to shit on though, Xant. Didn't expect it here, guess you deserve some credit after all.
Not taking sides, but I just find it pathetic how you inflate yourself over something so menial and insignificant as skill in a video game (inb4 nitpicking 'video' game). Why don't you go outside and make something of your life? Surely a content person who is happy with their life needs no reason to prance around on some forum, displaying his deluded sense of superiority.
Oh and I'm sure you have some form of rebuttal, a deep analysis of me as a person and my history in this community, or perhaps a quote from me where I am being an asshole or whatever, no doubt. Knock yourself out, because I have learned to stop caring about what some random guy on the internet does or says.
And if you don't, that's also fine. Your significance (or anyone's for that matter) to my life and whatever it holds in store is, dare I say, non-existant. You're a fly which I am too lazy to swat, whether it's mutual or not, again, does not weigh on my conscience.
