We got 41 clan members so it wouldnt be the problem. We will not compete most probably now. We really wanted to try full archer squad (no matter that its stupid...).

You could go with the blackfists.

So basically if Quincy Clan wants to participate we can have 3 archers max (or clan members max) if we dont use cav. That means that 5 players will be some other clan, so this woulnt be clan league but a mixed clan league if we would participate. We are out 99.999%. We want to fight as a clan not as ringers for others who dont have ranged.

Your choice.

You are welcome to an unofficial scrim vs Fallen if you really want to try a full archer squad.  Just talk to Tizzango to arrange a time

Then use STF's is you want to participate as a clan.

No one want to play against 8 ranged players, no one.
I hope you guys get some sort of sticky balls deseases and smell like my armpits, sorry excusese for nolife fucking cunts you are.

Its totally fine. We will not cry about it. Our dream got a bit shattered thats all. And wouldnt it be easy to play vs 8 ranged? Just take shields and done. :P

Anyway we might do some scrims with fallen then. It might be fun. Tnx for that info man!

UPDATE

Tenne is working away on the site - http://46.32.229.176/Chris_Project/Tournament_Website/index.php?p=ar

He's currently baby proofing the add match function to make sure I can't break it with invalid dates :D

Still to do (I think)
- Score submission and Confirmation
- Points calculation
- Server scheduling

Quick chat about that website.

  • It'll be scrappy, I'm no Harald, that's for sure!
  • It'll by-pass a lot of the forum leg work so things will hopefully run smoother.
  • Always up to date season by season scores table.
  • Easy submission of results & confirmation without forum posts.
  • Server booking & match time organisation, probably be subject to change, but it'll be a useful guideline anyway
  • Captain & Lieutenant accounts with team affiliation, add team members etc (no account needed to view results or upcoming matches) - Don't use a password that you would normally use, I am certainly not a security expert so it's literally just to attach a Captain to a Team.
  • Back-log of results from previous seasons. Scores and what-not.

Basically it's a terribly formatted website with a database that I have just started working on because I thought it might be a nice idea to keep everything in one place.

Also, a big thank you to my betters, my good friend who none of you will know and Bifi for helping out, whining that my code is awful and my database structure is like a "house of cards waiting for a gust of wind".

Why is there an armor limit? This is a huge disadvantage to those who have heavy loomed armors!

This isn't an individual tourney so why does it matter if those with loomed heavy armours can't use them?  Unless you are suggesting that there are clans out there who crutch so badly on using nothing but loomed heavy armours that as a group, none of them will have loomed armour to use?

The rules are designed to make things as fun as possible for ALL classes/players, replacing upkeep as the moderating factor on equipment usage

If the tournament rules imply that those using heavy armor must chose another playstyle , then it becomes an issue.
Furthermore in such a small team if one player is at unease with his class, it can decide the outcome of the battle.

It's a good rule, removes armor crutchers like you and makes the league more fun.
You should be punished for having a shitty attitude.
