If this is still active I'd like to volunteer.
Obvious troll posts will be ignored, if you want to be taken seriously you'll have to do your best to be serious in your post here.Fair enough.
Review the Official Server Rules and the Strategus Rules for good measure. It will be your responsibility to uphold them.Haven't been through those in a while, but being mostly common sense (I hope so anyways) they tend to stick.
You must be willing to put your position and the rules in front of your feelings towards people. Letting your friends get away with murder is no way to administrate.I enjoy bro-coding and shenanigans as much as the next guy, but they have this way of escalating to reach points where it is just to the extreme. Even as a non-admin, I see some of these things and go "Wow, is was that really necessary?".
I also play with players who tend to be more strict with the rules (e.g. Oohillac) so they should be a good enough influence.
You must be able to take criticism well. You will sometimes be put down and disliked for your actions, but you have to be able to deal with it with decorum.People say we learn from mistakes, criticism is close enough. Besides how bad could internet text be?
As of right now, we don't have admins with permissions on just one server. If you're made admin you will be one for all of the official NA servers (1, 2, 3, 6, 7)I tend to play on most NA servers (Battle and Siege the most with DtV the least), but having more admins, especially diverse ones with different preferences, could definitely benefit all of the servers.
Being easy to contact helps a lot. Watching for PMs, paying attention to the ban section will be practically required. Familiarize yourself with IRC if you haven't already, and hang out in #mount&blade-crpg on QuakeNet, or just use
the IRC webchat feature on the forums.I never got into the whole IRC thing, but I frequently visit the forums and already visit the ban section so PM'ing me won't be a big deal.
It would help to know when you are typically playing the game, and how often you'll have access to the website/forums.I tend to play most days, usually from around 4pm to 9-10pm or later (Central time), weekends are more varied. The forums I frequently check in on daily, often when playing cRPG (When I am dead of course).
Keep your post simple. Posting about your experience and qualifications is great, but there's no need to go into too much detail about your past. If you're being considered, you will be contacted. Guess this is where I put my schpeel.
I really am not sure of what could qualify, for this but I do know that I have been playing for a while

register or
login I don't recall being banned for any kind of trolling or aggressive behavior. I get along with most people and rarely dislike somone.
So yeah... I hope to be in contact and that you guys take a leap of faith with me.
Thanks for your time.
