I mostly play a hx to learn new swear words...

But i really enjoy uproaring the 1h cav's horse and just have a staring contest, or get in a hs when a lancer or 1h cav chargers you... standing perfectly still. Guess thats the reason i play hx the ability to hold a shot forever. they can nerf the class to hell and back id still play it.

... haha, yeah, i know this from my HA , a lesson, that each lancer cav has to learn ... eventhough i barely hs or 1hit kill anyone :S but some guys have pretty awesome dodging skills ... i must say , against an experianced lancer/1h its pretty much a 50% gamble .. quite exiting

Well this is as an HA but I imagine it's the same for HX. The satisfaction of shooting down enemy cav horses. Especially when you follow the same guy round after the round and ruin his day. You can almost feel the fist punching you through your computer.

I didn´t play cRPG for almost 2 weeks now.

I just wanted to make a few nice rounds this evening before playing other games again.

This is what I get (with a 60 head armor helmet, 21 str and 7 IF) 30 !!!! seconds after the round start:

Fuck this game, thanks for ruining it HX. Back to other games again ..

This is exactly what makes this class so attractive.

You dont need that much gold to make armor-my old friends rage.

Because pissing other players off is fun!

I can honestly sign that myself, you like it too, deep inside, or up in the open!

Point is, allowing too easy trolling is like pissing your pants to keep warm in the winter.

It's bad for the community and playerbase as a whole.

Amazing how you 2h-heros believe your own lies. You really really seem to believe its fun for the other guy to die by a cowards 1-hit-backslash. Or by random desperate spam luck.

Now here is the truth: It doesnt matter much which class kills your character. Its always kinda frustrating, and its worse when its early in the round.

Some people have more fun when the other players don't.

I have an HX alt. I like to use it to troll and delay.

Am I a bad person?

Starthing a poll against HX delaying at the end of round shouldn't be bannable, just the opposite, we should get valour for every successful poll against them  :P

HX contributes more towards a team's victory than score or kd indicate, so being near the top of the scoreboard as HX means you're a pretty big help.

That and trolling people 1v8 to be a jackass 8-)

I see people see the mounted ranged as a form of trolling and pissing off other players. That means I have a different belief compared to the majority of our community. Let me explain my thoughts:

I, myself, never see the class like that. For me HA and HX are nearly the same, the only difference is that HX is way more superior than HA. Quality difference. I will explain this from a HA's perspective, since after seeing the quality difference between the classes; I quickly abandoned the looks of HA to become a HX once. Sacrificing some style for stats.

My favourite faction in Native is Khergits. Because I like the idea of mounted combat and mounted archery as a way of medieval warfare. Some people like nords and rhodoks; because they have strong infantry. Some people like Vaegirs, because of their archers. Some like sarranid and swadia, for their cavalry. And I like Khergits most; too bad people do everything not to play that class. Same applies to cRPG:
-Some people watch hollywood movies, which the main hero is a great swordsman or something; so they want to play as a twohander character.
-Some people like the idea of ninjas or samurais, therefore they grab a katana and become swift yet deadly ninjas. We even have a clan for that.
-Some people see robin hood or legolas; therefore they like to be an archer-  a ranger.
I all have respect for that.

But when I want to roleplay as a Steppe nomad, a Mongolian warrior, a Magyar cavalry, a Turkish raider or anything that is close to that; I became a troll, a round delayer, a conspiratist, a gaycher, a coward, a skilless player, an idiot, an asshole...

That's how it was for HA, before they nerfed and HX came out. As I said, it was for HA before; now it's for HX since it is the way to go if you want to play as a horse ranged. No difference really.

Seems the fascists are gaining ground once again in UKR... right vving politics is SO bad for the general populace but STILL in times of trouble the uneducated turn to them for help, simply because they are so amoral they vvill supply those vvilling to fight vvith vveapons rather than knovvledge.

My UU key is broken incase you can't tell :D

Piss of players definitely.
First i tried to kill them as 1h cav,but then i learned that it will always result of my destrier being shot cuz it has maneuver skills of aircraft carrier or even bigger boat.

The superior flexibility.

- You can move everywhere, nobody is faster
- You can (theoretically) attack whoever you see

Which has a lot of secondary effects like higher survivability, less suffering of counters, perhaps you can say there are even less pure counters at all, at least compared to the amount of prey classes. They enjoy a more active, gameplay, they are always acting, and have to react very little (infantry for example can only reacting most of the time). It's not the deadliness, it's the possibility to almost always dictate the pace of fighting towards the goal of the game, which is killing all enemies. They can take their time and do it their way, under their conditions.

Never heard complaints about horse crossbowmen on siege though. Could be a hint for a solution.
Joker makes a very good point.
