Lolek and Bolek, there was even a full movie with both.

Lol so just to tell the story a few years ago our house maid (she is polish) used to bring her boy at my house, and one day he watched a dvd of this :D

Also, in retrospect watching this as a 6 yo must have been weird :

...
hmm never seen any of them; but back in those days didn't you guys had this kind of stuff in russia? i know you did P:

 ...

Naa, my hometown lay in an area which was called "the valley of the clueless" because there was no reception of western TV or radio programms. With a bit luck you could receive RIAS but for TV there was only GDR1, GDR2 and some polish channels.

Another great show and imho greatest character ever:

I'm immensely happy and proud that I had the privilege to watch these cartoons from 1940s, instead of modern shows you guys have grown up watching. That's because people who watched these cartoons made USA great and world leading country. Every story in these cartoons promote good values, which isn't the case in modern shows which promote randomness and weird behavior.

I learned a lot by watching these old cartoons. Call me conspiracy theorists, but I really believe that people who watched television while it was young media, were early adopters who got the most out of it. I feel that only purpose of modern television shows is to make kids dumber and dumber, to make them easier to control by those who accumulated wealth after last World War.

Similar thing can be said about internet. There's so much crap on internet, it's hard for people to find truly useful information (which is still free and in abundance). It's a good thing we (who started using it back in the late 90s) are those early adopters I'm talking about. The day when people completely stop reading Wikipedia or searching for some quality information in favor of wasting time on sites like 4chan, will be the death of internet as we know it.
