The story of the snake is now told to the children of BS clan to teach them a valuable lesson. You reap what you sow.

LL listened to the snake and paid "The Crossbow Price" to get what they thought was a golden apple. They took a bite and found it as rotten as a week old corpse in high summer.

We had to fight our own that day to take back our stolen fief. It was done with a single charge. The win did not sit well in our hearts. We had to pay them back in Blood. Our friends HoC caught the snake and cut off its head, they gained much honor that day. LL tribe needed to know their folly.

They must have known we would seek revenge. When we arrived in the Forrest near Bulugur our scouts reported over 6000 men camped in the fief. We had only 2360.... but they were handpicked men of terror and we had surprise on our side. Our God was with us.

We waited till the sun came up behind us to blind their ranged and mask our march. We charged out of the trees and the men of LL heard the drums. Boom BOOM BOOM roared the drum but that was the only sound that could be heard. The men of terror were as silent as the death they were bringing. You could smell the fear wafting from the village.

We walked right down the middle of the road and crashed like a wave into the shield wall. We continued to surge until more than 2000 of the enemy had fallen before us. Each forward base we would set up was torn down so we had to do it the old fashioned way. Break their hearts and minds. It took 1466 of our Heroes to get the job done but it was worth the cost.

Most of the LL veteran warriors were dead when we took the head of the Warlord. The rest dropped weapons and pleaded for mercy. We took them as thralls to honor the Terrortops. Fodder for our next campaign.

The few to old to be useful we left in the steppes to tell our enemies the story of the snake and the truth of "The Crossbow Price"

The Terror Rises

Like I said, it's way overrated, I'd wager at least half the people have particle effects turned off (like myself) and can't see any light from the torch.  Nor do I have the heirloom models pack, so it just looks like a shit stick that does nothing to help us win.

How'd you turn this into an American thing?  Because of one comment (a minority opinion) you come to the conclusion that many American's share his view point?
