Yeah, it actually seems to be fairly balanced. You sacrifice 5 pierce, 6 length, secondary mode and 0.5 weight for the 3 speed and 2 cut if you pick a katana over a bastard.

Katana was always fine, it was just over-used by beginners who didn't know anything but to spam. It's just thinned out now. ;)

It was OK in a duel situation Bjord. This is not a duel game. (Besides lack of range is a huge handicap, something we try to eliminate by having superior athletics and light armor..)

Now stop trolling me! I've said all I have to say on the subject a million times over from every possible angle.

Katana was NOT ok in Battle. Now it is OK.

With new changes making swords bouncing of every noob that is trying to "help" in 2 meters radius, katana was buffed even more than it was obvious in the first place. Anyway, congrats!
