I always expect people to act like idiots on the internet, I just hope they aren't like that in real life. I did understand Pepe's joke, but to me it was pretty obvious that someone would interpret it in a racist manner for the "lulz"
Fair enough, but one of the rules enforced by the mod is that "interpreting" things in a racist manner is a bannable offense. So...someone got banned for breaking the rules then. There was no entrapment. If some people see africa and automatically think "friends" regardless of context, that's already pretty suspect, but cRPG isn't the thought police, people are free to be racist dickholes on their own time, but when they communicate that thought and write it in the public space that is crpg, that is more than enough grounds for a ban.
