Hmm, I tried that, but I can't get past the loading screen somehow.

I didn't have maple syrup, though and used the cheap one. Maybe that's the problem.

Fucking gold so far

A lot of people seem to be upset with the new driving physics, I personally love it. Each car actually feels so different now, and you can't outrun cops with a fucking sedan anymore. In fact very few cars can outrun them. The driving is incredibly satisfying and once you start to really get the hang of it, it just gets even better.

Also, cops are actually something to worry about for once, seriously. They don't fuck around.
I'm rock, nerf paper, scissors is fine. Welcome to c-RPG.

If I know Rockstar North, they will try to prevent it but fail miserably

Update :

Got to play pretty much non-stop since yesterday evening.

This is THE time. The very first time in 5 years that PC gamers don't have the absolute best stuff in every way. Temporarily anyways. As expected aiming is horrible, aiming while driving is simply broken (can't aim in a vehicule without shooting, how stupid is that), but this game rocks. You better be jealous, otherwise you are clearly missing out.

In other bad news, they pretty much killed the driving and vehicule damage model yeah. Cars don't turn into metal chewing-gum nearly as much and are extremely robust all around (you can lose car parts like back in Vice City), but that's honestly not that bad, collisions feel more heavy (perhaps that's a sound effects thing) and you definitely don't "bounce".

As for the driving itself, it's pretty bad. Brakes are MUCH too strong making L2 the "pin the car here" button. In fact it's so strong that if you drive correctly by braking pre-turn or to get a drift started, you will kill your speed and not start drifting at all, even with a really short hit on the brakes. In fact to start tight turns safely and fast you should only stop accelerating (the deceleration when you do this is comparable to maximum braking in GTA4 with realistic driving). The handbrake is pretty much useless unless your car is slow enough not to instantly fishtail. Cars actually have very low acceleration because the most powerful ones just keep burning tires NFS style instead of going forward when you accelerate at low speeds. I haven't tried a lot but it doesn't seem like muscle cars can powerdrift corners. Bikes strafe when turning, a bit like LA Noire cars. All in all it feels like a bastardized version of GTA4 driving made to accomodate for idiots and ADHD Trackmania kids, but still much of it is GTA4.

Ho yeah sign this http://www.change.org/en-GB/petitions/rockstar-add-an-option-to-gta-5-to-change-the-driving-mechanics-back-to-gta-4-style-2#share
