GTA IV was way better on PS3 than on my gaming PC.  Performance was terrible on the PC, it was clearly optimized for consoles.  Hopefully that won't be the case with GTA V, but I likely won't wait for it to come out on PC and will get it for PS3.  So don't expect to see me much in cRPG at the end Sept

You tried the latest patches ? GTA 4 runs wonderfully on my system, even though my GC is 3 years old. And you won't get any mods on PS3

GTAIV isn't optimized and that goes for every gaming system. On consoles it runs in 800x600 resolution upscaled  to HD and it has blurry textures all over the place. Despite looking like shit (piss filter is also ON to hide poor level of details), game runs between 23-28 fps. But when you're playing on your console, you're relaxed on your couch couple meters from the TV and you really don't mind poor performance and bad graphics like you do when you're sitting in (usually) uncomfortable chair a meter away from PC monitor. Do the same with your PC (HTPC) and it will run just as "great".

Some mods are working on consoles but it's not recommended to run them because of already poor performance.

It should be mandatory for every game to use Euphoria. Including Mount & Blade. That would be awesome.....

A dead guy stumbling across the entire map because the Euphoria engine refuses to let him fall down...  Yes

That's my line!

I think it should be required by law for every video game to have that physics engine.

"However, considering the GTA franchise began on the PC, it’s unlikely that the such a move would be taken by Take-Two, the publisher that owns the studio."

While holding an arrow in head, while bumping others in turn making them go into a drunken stumble as well.

ah beat me to it.

Looks fun as hell.

Always been a fan of GTA series.
And now he can't play because of "common sense" and he doesn't understand how this common sense works
