The russian people on the forums also say that you should get crafting skill to lvl 3 before crafting anything.

Yeah, but that comes in effect at later levels, because all the newbie items have 100% chance to craft. Each crafting lvl raises crafting success by 10%.

True, but the crafting materials only have 60% chance.
