Considering i watch most Liverpool games, because i like the way they play (attacking wise), there is one big problem for me for Liverpool, their defence is awful, currently Liverpool play a 'i can score more goals than you' kind of game, and that kind of play only lasts for a while. If Liverpool do no boost their defense during the transfer window, i believe it will be a 5th place finish next year for you.

Liverpool also had the advantage this year of being knocked out of all competitions early and no European football, which is a huge factor, very few injuries the their squad meant that the same team played week in week out.

But i do hope Liverpool can keep the momentum going onto next year

I honestly don't think they will be able to repeat it with the team they have. No doubt they have played some brilliant football. But I think they will have a lot more on their plate next season and the expectation may get to them as they have gotten so close this season and are falling at the last hurdle.

I agree Strudog. It's essential for next season if Liverpool are to stay top 4 and in the CL. Without reinforcements and defencive improvements we are doomed to finnish outside top 4 with all the competitions next season.

Remember that Liverpools squad is still pretty young. Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge,  Henderson and Flanagan will only improve and if we can keep them and they flourish, it'll be pretty fucken sweet ;-)

yes indeed and i would love sterling, sturridge and Henderson to go to the world cup, but once again all attacking players. All your defensive players are old and are not good enough to play for a title winning Liverpool side.

With being so close it should be easy for Liverpool to get in some good defensive reinforcements as i see none of the top 7 will be looking to sure up their defense (maybe United).

Had my hopes in Sakho but meh, he has to step up his game and learn to work together with Skrtel. As Carra said, there's no leader in the defence anymore. Glen Johnson can get the fuck out of the club, overpayed and overestimated player. Hopefully Flanagan will develope as a player and finally - give us Luke Shaw man, wet fucking dream :-D

I think Derby should go to the Premiership via playoff, their results were quite good and there was a lot of goal flowing in their matches. What really surprised me most is the composition of their team: just look at the flags on the right: almost full domestic squad made of players from England, Scotland, Ireland, Northern Ireland, only the Welsh missing but they're crap anyways  . It would be an astonishing accomplishment if Derby were to make it to the Premiership, especially considering the fact they are managed by that smiling clown Steve McClaren.
