Its not about what he won but what kind of manager he is. I think he fits into Man Utd better then many of those who won some cups. What he done at Everton is decent work considering the circumstances.

he spent less money in 10 years (due to limited Everton budget) than Liverpool did only last season and finished above them in the table. I find that quite a sucess.

you must know that Everton really has low expectations and limited funds and recently fans have been more and more vocal about it. they have been just satisfied to be in PL and all the top half of the table finishes over the years were just a nice bonus. have you ever heard Everton signed a big player? never. Moyes is great at picking young talent and later selling them due to financial status of the club.

He ran Portsmouth into the ground when he bought all those players on massive wages and high transfer fees/sign-on fees. He might've got them the cup, but a lot of their economical troubles is down to him as well.

I never said Redknapp was bad, respect to him but there are more than a few good managers in the world, Redknapp is too old to take the Man U. job, and what Gurni said there is a diffrence between a coach and a manager, Moyes will be (As Ferguson was) highly involved in managing the club on more fields than just the frst team tactics. He did an awesome job at that in Everton so yes i'd say he is a better manager than Harry.
